The Tigers are NOT this good, folks, and they will get exposed this weekend inside the Metrodome for what they really are - a team playing WAY over its collective noggin. After Franchise mows them down tonight, Radke and Cy Santana will toss another pair of gems, another three-game SWEEP, and the Twins will only be 5.5 games behind the suddenly-staggering Tigers.
The White Sox are already in the rearview mirror, with nothing left in Chicago's season but a few dozen more off-color & insensitive comments from Ozzie and somebody trying to Punch A.J. The Tigers are next for the Terrific Twins, who WILL NOT be denied during what is shaping up as one of the truly amazing second half runs in MLB history.
I look forward to agitating Detroit "fans" (bandwagon, every one of them!) as their team stumbles out of the still-rockin' Dome in complete turmoil. I've already arranged with my behind-the-scenes sources inside the visitors clubhouse to Hide all the BUBBLE GUM.
Hey Johnboy, what happened to your freaking Twinkies!!!!! I thought they had the WORLD CHAMPION WHITE SOX in their rearview mirror!!!!!!!! I believe the Twinkies are TWO GAMES behind the WORLD CHAMPION WHITE SOX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Boy your blog is pretty pathetic!!!!!!! You should keep the magical realism to your novel, and try to deal with the actual world here in your blog. It must have been pretty to think, for just a couple of moments, that you were going to sweep the Tigers. And it must have felt gooood to write such a cocky, ridiculous post.
I'd really like to see you put up a retraction and an apology. I think you owe it to your readers. More importantly, I think you owe it to yourself.

Hey award-winning, nationally syndicated sports columnist, author and freelance writer, You cannot just move on with posts about Loshe, BOOF, and your "award winning" Meandering Ramblings. You puffed out your chest and threw down the gauntlet with your post. Now do the right thing and post an "update" includng the fact that the Tigers took 2 from the Twins. Don't ignore it. Do your job as a blogger. Shame on you!
